Three Old Sundanese Poems-Bibliotheca Indonesica

This book is the first major contribution in English to the study of Old Sundanese literature. Old Sundanese texts have generally been preserved in undated palm-leaf manuscripts, often in a bad condition. Most of them contain prose texts of a historical, religious or didactic nature. Reliable editions are still largely lacking.

With "Hacking Angkringan" we want to achieve a unique interaction between the kitchen, the lab, MobileKitchenLab and the street. Kitchens are privileged spaces, where our research into what is the world made of and how matter relates to our stomach and body not only originated but also from where it developed into present day labs.

Mount Merapi’s alert status lowered

Mount Merapi’s alert status was lowered as of Friday evening, but people living on the slopes of the volcano were told to remain cautious of possible secondary eruptions.

Residents were also reminded about the danger of floods of mud whenever there were heavy rains at the volcano’s peak.
